About the Department

Studying English makes students perfect 21st century global citizen. Being the global language, English offers versatile career opportunities not only in a particular domain or region, but almost in all the fields around the world.

The Department of English is run meticulously, with the motto of developing the competence over English language and the literary knowledge of the students from the rural background, since its inception in 2007 in the Institution. The Department is very keen on instilling students not only with better language but also with the essence of literature in life.

Courses Offered

The Department offers the following undergraduate and postgraduate programmes

UG - B.A English - 3 years

PG - M.A English – 2 Years

  • Advanced language laboratory to cater to the practical needs of the students.
  • Orientation programme for all UG first year students on presentation skills.
  • Organizing regular outbound trainings
